Kleine elektriciteitscentrale voor overtollige warmte

22 februari 2018 German developer bets on small-scale geothermal power units by Swedish Climeon
The Swedish clean-technology company Climeon has secured an order from Geoenergie Kirchweidach (GEK) in Germany to supply its modular geothermal heat power system for a geothermal power plant. The deal will enable GEK to utilize the excess heat of the geothermal plant that today delivers heat to the local greenhouse business and the city of Kirchweidach. The Climeon Heat Power system will work in conjunction with the heating and it is estimated that the first phase will annually deliver 14 000 MWh of electricity to the grid.
