85 Degrees is a geothermal energy company which brings together the best in class knowledge of drilling, geothermal and technical experience and know-how. 85 Degrees embraces the urgent need for energy transition and the carbon reduction targets set out by the Netherlands governments and the EU.
We are developing and delivering CO2 free energy in a third of the time it currently takes other players in the Netherlands’ market.
85 has simultaneously acquired existing geothermal projects which we are enhancing, upgrading and delivering.
We are commercially driven to consolidate, streamline and standardize the best practice in the industry. We actively engage in dialogue and technical discussion with other operators to develop a safe and sustainable operating practice in liaison with the Dutch Government.
